Threaded Bar

A threaded bar, is a relatively long rod that is threaded along the complete length of the rod. They are designed to be used in tension. A threaded rod in bar stock form is often called all thread.

The threaded bars are formed using rolled threads, this makes them stronger because the metal is"rolled" up to the major diameter, not removed. Hence preserving the grain of the steel, and in some cases enhancing it. lt is used in piping, construction, and maintenance applications, threaded rods are used to join together and stabilize objects and structures made of metal and concrete.
